Day 35: Let's Nest Together

Amy at The Nest

The Nest…doesn’t that name just sound cozy?  This tiny little restaurant is big in heart and soul.  A small, intimate, relaxed place, The Nest has a nice bar, dimmed lighting, great food & wine and a faux fireplace on the flat screen TV that cracks me up every time I visit.  If I remember correctly, I think the TV has a beach scene in the summer.  It does set a certain mood.

I love their website description of how The Nest began – three “semi-sober” guys who had a vision for a casual and inviting place they could share with family, friends, customers and even their kids “sometimes!”

The food and wine at The Nest is worth trying and their prices are affordable too.  Some of my personal favorites are the brick oven pizzas, mussels & fries, bruschetta, crab & queso fondue and the lunch bento boxes.  Jeremy, the Owner, spent many years just getting to know wines and he has brought that experience and talent to bear at The Nest.  Try his pairing suggestions with your meal.

You won’t be disappointed in your experience.  Their service has always been top-notch and the servers are friendly and helpful.  They offer catering and you can even rent the whole place for a private party.  It’s the perfect setting for a business event or personal party – like Goldilocks – not too big or small, but just right!

Inside The Nest

The Nest will be celebrating the Superbowl on Sunday, Feb. 6th with a Munchie Menu & Drink Party starting at 4:30 – reservations are recommended.  If you are a Steelers fan (like me!) get out and enjoy the game in a lively setting.  The Nest is a great choice!  Don’t forget your Terrible Towel!    ~Amy
